Wide-Angle 3.5/17 MC (Tokina) Construction:
***** Elements/groups:
11/9 Highlights: very wide, price (for a 17mm), renders nicely Downsides: not the sharpest lens "This is my widest non-fisheye MF lens. It delivers a more than decent performance and distortion is even better than with the Cosina 20. Perhaps an ideal compromise between angle, price and peformance. This lens was manufactured by Tokina and thus has the same design as the Tokina 3.5/17 which often goes for much more mones." |

Wide-Angle 3.8/20 MC Construction:
**** Elements/groups:
8/7 Highlights: really wide, price (for a 20mm) Downsides: barrel distortion "This is my second widest non-fisheye MF lens. It delivers a decent performance, but of course also shows some flaws that are typical for superwide angle lenses, such as distortion. As far as the general optical performance is concerned, it is a very good - and rather small - lens." |

Automatic 3.5/23 Construction:
**** Elements/groups:
? Original price: approx. DM 210,- Highlights: wide, price Downsides: soft and CA at the edges "Well built, much better than I've expected. Great condition. The image quality of this lens is good, not amazing - there are CAs at the the edge of the picture and it is only sharp in the centre when wide open. But it meets my expectations about an affordable 23mm lens."
